York BID AGM - Wednesday 12th June 2019


All levy paying businesses in the York BID area are invited to attend our third Annual General Meeting taking place on Wednesday 12th June, starting 6pm at the Double Tree by Hilton York. This event offers an opportunity to learn more about what the BID has achieved in its first 3 years and what is in store for the future. Spaces are limited so don't delay in registering your place.

Papers in respect of this meeting, including the Company’s Annual Review and Accounts of the Company for the last financial year, will be available to attending members and subsequently online via the Downloads page of the York BID website, in accordance with the Articles of Association of the Company. Hard copies will be available at the meeting.


Meeting Proceedings

6pm – Arrival, guest registration and refreshment

6:30pm – Meeting starts

In accordance with the Articles of Association of the Company the following Directors are seeking reappointment at the AGM:

  • Phil Pinder, Cuffs & Co/York Retail Forum
  • Robert Onyett, Harrowells Solicitors
  • Neil Sanderson, York Minster Trust

In addition, the following nominations have been received from members who wish to be appointed to the Board:

  • Angela Horner, Browns Department Store

The company annual accounts are published in the Annual Review for 2018-19. Hard copies will be available at the meeting.

The meeting is likely to close around 7.30pm. Afterwards you are welcome to join us for a complementary drink and networking in the hotel bar.


BID Company Membership

To be eligible to vote during the AGM, businesses must first be registered as a member of the York BID Company.
