York BID AGM 8th July 2020, 6pm
York BID is pleased to invite levy paying businesses and partners to attend its 4th AGM. The meeting is free to attend and will be conducted remotely via Zoom Webinar, in line with social distancing guidelines, on Wednesday 8th July 2020, starting at 6pm.
The meeting will focus on the reopening of York’s hospitality sector opening with a talk from Kate Nicholls, Chief Executive of UK Hospitality. UK Hospitality is the powerful voice representing the broad hospitality sector – covering everything from bars, coffee shops, contract catering, hotels, nightclubs, visitor attractions and other leisure venues.
This will be followed by a Q & A session with a panel of business representatives featuring Juliana Delaney, Chief Executive of Continuum Attractions (including York Chocolate Story) and Martin Bradnam, General Manager of The Doubletree by Hilton & Chair of Hospitality Association York (HAY). Further to this, the BID’s Exec Director will give an update on how the BID is responding to Covid-19, along with a brief reflection on the BIDs work in 2019/20.
We are inviting attendees to submit questions to be addressed by the panel. Please submit your questions in advance via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions can be concentrated on hospitality (as per the event focus), or about BID operations in general.
