Hands-on fun at York Food Festival 2018

A hands-on learning experience is one of the new highlights at this year's York Food & Drink Festival.

The Food Factory will allow families to get hands-on – making bread, butter, pasta, cheese and ice-cream, and preserving fish.

If that’s not enough the visit is rounded off with a chocolate activity in the York Cocoa Works.

The York BID has put some funding into the Food Factory as part of our support for Events and Festivals.

The factory will be in St Sampson's Square throughout the festival, which runs from September 21-30.

You'll find it  alongside the demonstration area and a new pop-up bar and street food area.

A family ticket for nearly two hours of entertainment is £15 – get along!
