More than 115 venues serve up offers for York Restaurant Week

York’s biggest celebration of dining out returns next month, and you can now explore hundreds of offers from more than 115 venues across the city.

York Restaurant Week will run from Monday 5th to Sunday 18th October 2026, with 244 specially created offers available at restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars, hotels and street-food venues.

Organised by York Business Improvement District (York BID), the campaign encourages you to discover new places, revisit old favourites and support York’s hospitality sector.

All offers are now live at yorkrestaurantweek.co.uk, where diners can browse participating venues and download free vouchers to use throughout the fortnight.

Now in its 14th edition, York Restaurant Week has grown into one of the city’s most popular campaigns. Since it began, more than 1,000 businesses have taken part, promoting over 2,100 offers between them.

Around 210,000 vouchers have been downloaded across the events to date, generating an estimated £3.5 million in direct customer spend and a wider economic impact of approximately £7 million.

The most recent Restaurant Week, held in March 2026, saw almost 30,000 vouchers downloaded over 14 days.

Eleanor Richardson, from York BID, said: “More than 120 venues have put themselves on the menu for this October’s York Restaurant Week, giving people a brilliant opportunity to eat their way around the city for less.

“There is an enormous range of offers to explore, from quick lunches and coffee-and-cake stops to evening meals, cocktails and special tasting experiences. York’s hospitality businesses are a huge part of what makes the city so special, and Restaurant Week is all about celebrating that!”

No booking is required through the York Restaurant Week website. Diners simply choose an offer, download their free voucher and follow the individual venue’s instructions to book or redeem it.
