York Restaurant Week returns in March 2026

York Restaurant Week, brought to you by York BID, returns from 9th–22nd March 2026, giving diners a full two weeks to enjoy exclusive offers across the city.

Now established in its extended fortnight-long format, the event once again provides even more time to discover new favourites and revisit much-loved venues within York’s thriving culinary scene.

York Restaurant Week offers will go live on Monday 23rd February and can be found and downloaded at yorkrestaurantweek.co.uk

More than 100 venues are taking part this March, offering everything from casual lunches and sweet treats to global cuisines and fine dining experiences. Offers are priced between £5 and £30, making it easier than ever to dine out on any budget. With two weeks to explore, diners can take advantage of great deals while experiencing the very best of York’s hospitality scene.

New venues taking part for the first time in March 2026 include Drift-In, Howl, Love Cheese and 200 Degrees Coffee.

There’s no limit to the number of vouchers diners can claim. With high demand expected, diners are encouraged to book ahead and review any specific terms that may apply to individual offers.

Eleanor Richardson, York BID, said: “York Restaurant Week has really become one of the highlights of the city’s calendar, and we’re absolutely delighted to bring it back this March. It’s one of the biggest events of its kind in the UK and a brilliant chance to celebrate York’s incredible, diverse food and drink scene while giving a real boost to our brilliant local hospitality businesses. We can’t wait to see both much-loved favourites and exciting new venues take part, giving diners even more reasons to get out, try something new and enjoy everything York has to offer.”

This year’s event runs alongside York BID’s Shop York initiative, in partnership with Indie York, which also runs until Sunday 22nd March.

Following feedback from participating businesses, York BID has decided to retain the longer two-week format of York Restaurant Week, which has proven popular with both venues and diners since its introduction.

Over 12 editions of the event, York Restaurant Week’s total estimated economic impact since launch now stands at between £5 million and £6 million. Organised by the York Business Improvement District (York BID), the event is designed to support York city centre’s thriving hospitality sector. York Restaurant Week takes place twice a year – in March and October – offering diners a unique opportunity to explore the city’s fantastic food and drink offerings at great value.
